RedZed is a national provider of financial solutions to the self-employed in Australia. Founded in 2006, RedZed specialises in originating, underwriting and managing residential and commercial loans with a focus on empowering the self-employed market segment, ranging from clear credit to mild credit impairment. RedZed has a deep understanding of the needs and risks of the self-employed segment and a strong track record of prudent underwriting principles, as well as a disciplined collections approach.

RedZed has originated more than A$7 billion of residential and commercial finance secured by real property and equipment assets. It has issued more than A$5.2 billion of debt market securities via 14 term securitisations, with more than A$3.3 billion of assets currently under management.

RedZed is a privately owned company. 

RedZed sources its warehouse funding through longstanding relationships with banks and a institutional investors. RedZed is a regular risk-retention-compliant issuer and has successfully placed 14 securitisation transactions since 2011. The most recent was a A$500 million transaction priced in July 2022.

RedZed continues to deliver growth with a strong focus on delivering solutions to the self-employed. This positioning, along with an increased distribution model of accepting loans directly or through accredited mortgage origination partners, allows the company control over the type of business it originates that is unique in the Australian marketplace.

The business expects to generate more than A$2.7 billion of assets in the current financial year.
